Jeremy Scott Spring/Summer 2011

Jeremy Scott presented a quirky fun collection which took inspiration from "cool girls in New York city", Debbie Harry and Leigh Lezark, "all the girls that go to clubs." The collection featured tops emblazzoned with "Fuck you" or "Thank you for shopping here" and dresses appearing to be made from plastic but actualy from silky polyester. Love the white blonde peradox hair doos as well.

Marchesa Spring/ Summer 2011

I was going to combine my favorite shows of New York fashion week into one post, but I thought the Marchesa girls deserved a post all to themselves for their truly exquisite dresses.

Lady Gaga's meaty masterpiece

Now Gaga has had a few wierd and wacky outfits in her career, covering her self in blood? That kermit frog dress? Think she couldn't get any wierder?WRONG!! She pulled out the trump card at the recent VMA awards with this little creation, made entirely out of MEAT!!!apparently. According to Gaga said dress "has many interpretations. For me this evening, if we don’t stand up for what we believe in and if we don’t fight for our rights pretty soon, we’re going to have as much rights as the meat on own bones. And, I am not a piece of meat.” Hmmm not sure I'd want to go this far but each to their own I guess.

Misery Maroon 5

I just want to be the girl in this video, just beacuse she looks like she came straight out of a Guess advert.

Alors on danse

Brilliant. just Brilliant!

Danielle Lloyd's new look

I was pleasently suprised when I spotted these pictures of former glamour model Danielle Lloyd at a charity event in Liverpool yesterday. Gone are the butt flashing outfits of old replaced with this sleek Grecian look. Love the chic up do as well.

September's Magazine Magic

I have noticed, on my monthly magazine shopping trips how many AMAZING covers and shoots their are in this months fashion magazines.
First of all Pop came up with the idea of shooting the one and only Ms Spears for their cover collaborating with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami to create these super cute manga inspired images.

Then Love magazine has shot the most gorgeous pictures of some of the hottest women around for their issue such as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Kelly Brook, which I will upload the images tomorrow once I have scanned them in. And if this wasn't enough Wonderland has gone and put Katie Price IN CLOTHES on their cover!! (You can also get Zac Effron but I'm less excited about this)
Greased and grunged up, it's slightly different to her usural tutus and bling bling persona that so often graces the weekly magazines. I think she looks great in this paired down, tomboy state. Much better than the normal "Jordan" incarnation

Kate Moss for Bryan Ferry

She's graced the cover of many a fashion magazine worldwide, posed for top advertising campaigns, and even modelled in the Topshop window. However,Kate Moss is now the cover girl for Bryan Ferry's (of Roxy Music fame) new album Olympia. The pictures were inspired by the Edouard Manet paintings of Olympia, and Moss can be seen posing on a bed of white sheets with only a diamond necklace and a scarlett pout.

AAAAAAAAAGHHHHHH

Soooooooo exciteddddddd. Gossip Girl season 4 preview. Can not wait for more fabulous fashion, scandals, and of course, the one and only Chuck Bass.

Man Style

I love a well dressed man and this week my man style crush is Brad Goreski, aka Rachel Zoe's assistant. It's his Geek Chic style that has caught my eye mixing plaid shirts and bow ties with thick framed glasses and short shorts for day, or a tailored suit for evening. For any one who hasn't come across Brad check him out on The Rachel Zoe Project. In the words of Rachel Zoe "I die!"
