Photoshoot feedback

Had Tammy in today to give us advice on the magazine spreads that we had to do over Christmas.

I had based mine on 80s fashion, as it's one of my favorite decades. This is the first time I've done any photoshoot styling, so it was mainly an experimental excercise for me. I shot it in my back garden, with a darker background as I wanted a grungy look and for the clothes to stand out.

I thought Tammy's feedback was really helpful. She said that the writing was clear, however I should maybe put a clear mark between each item and their price to make it obvious about which price goes with which item.

She also mentioned that the picture with the drain should maybe have some graffiti on the wall, so it's obvious that I wanted that background look, not just that it was an accident they are by the drain. Also the pictures are quite static so having some more experimental scenes.

I think the photoshoot was a really good learning exercise, but there are definitely ways that I can improve on it for next time.
